Fleur Smits is a widely oriented, multi-disciplinary artist. By creating artworks, she shares ambitions and underexposed messages that should be heard. She creates under more by illustrating, designing graphics, photographing, filming and writing music. Fleur experiments in different art disciplines, in order to find the right way or ways for a message to be communicated in. Through her work, she spreads honest stories that are filled with reality, but are based on dreams of a future in which we are all one.
Hobbies and interests
In her spare time, Fleur loves to play music, to illustrate, to read and to go for long walks in nature. She composes her own music with much pleasure and writes the lyrics to her melodies, very often in differentiating languages. She finds it educational to combine different art disciplines. Think of recording video in combination with an original piano composition. She also uses her time to raise her voice in the name of those who can't be heard: nature, people and other animals. She does that by joining climate protests, but also by writing protest songs and illustrating picture books for example.

Fleur can be characterized by the following personal traits: creative, patient, studious, loyal and honest. She's a good listener, will always be ready to help someone else and is fully able to stay calm in situations that ask one to keep control.
